It is underpinned by the belief that unity is achieved through ongoing acts of commitment to one another. Coming together to build a legacy for future generations is an opportunity to create positive energy, shared purpose and provide a foundation for healing.
Through a unified approach, Process Unite benefits all Traditional Owners through the provision of consistent coordination and support, a commitment to ensure Cultural Authority is embedded in all decision making and a promise to provide clear and consistent engagement with all members about our progress.

The following core Cultural First Principles were agreed upon by the Senior Elders in attendance at the Forum as the best way to move forward.
We are guided by the Spirit of Country, the spirit of the Old People, and our spirit.
We are the solid rock, the solid foundation.
We need to fully acknowledge our past.
We need to create a sustainable financial base.
We have one purpose, to engage with government.
We are doing this together.
We are ready.
Decisions must be made on Country, in the proper way.
Native Title has created disconnection and division.
We must allow for the coming back to Country and Culture: the reconnection.
We recognise that compensation will be delivered through Native Title structures.
We need to be using our words, not corporate words or language.
Process Unite is an endorsement of the People's mandate.
One voice is only going to be so strong.
This is not about what one wants, it is about what we want together.
This must be a respectful process.
It does not matter if we are from one group or many groups.
This is not about encroaching on anyone's individual business.
Process Unite is nine times stronger than one voice.
This is bringing us together.
Recalling the pledge made at Woodleigh Station: We will not leave anyone behind.
